Voting procedure set forth in the State law is unnecessarily complicated and burdensome, and which could occur without giving any or proper notice, and serves to disenfranchise certain voters.

Apparently there was not a letter that went out about applying to vote, the only thing you MIGHT have received was a notice of the aldermanic hearing back in November.
Now, it seems that if you would like to apply to vote, you need to contact both Matt Potter at the Board of Elections AND David Sweeney at the board of aldermen (they are not sure who is the actual City Clerk, so it is better to contact both) and get your information in by Tuesday February 3rd.
By information they mean:
Name
Address
Mailing Address
Phone number
Authorized signature (fax or pdf will work for this)
AND proof of ownership of real property in Shaw. (Deed, tax receipt, etc.)
At this point it seems you can only vote once, no matter how many LLCs you have, but I would encourage you to seek clarification on this from Matt or David. They are both pretty accessible. Their contact info is below. Also, I would encourage you to forward this to any other property owners (including banks!) that you think might be interested.
