Tax Abated Properties in Shaw

Under the Shaw Special Business District Ordinance, properties subject to tax-abatement will pay a reduced rate according to their abatement status.  They are “strongly encouraged to made additional equitable, annual donations to the District in lieu of the additional District taxes”.

    Moving to Shaw? Consider taking up residence at one of the above addresses. That way you won’t be working against your own self intrests.

    Why do these properties not have to pay. I saw nothing about them in the proposition here:
